The Short: Burnout CRASH! Is a game that will only keep you entertained for a short amount of time but for that time it does what it sets out to do very well

After being MIA since Burnout Legends Criterion’s famous ‘Crash Mode’ makes a smashing return with their newly released downloadable title Burnout CRASH! Fans of ‘Crash Mode’ from Burnout 3 may be a little disappointed in this new rendition of the classic game mode. As a complete game Burnout CRASH! Can become a little dry and repetitive very quickly unless you’re a diehard fan of the series, ontop of this the voice acting is distracting and annoying when trying to steer your flaming vehicle into head on traffic. But it’s not all a letdown, Burnout CRASH! Is extremely easy to grasp both long-time fans and newcomers can learn the mechanics of the games 3 different modes almost immediately.

The stage specific ‘Super Features’ add a nice feel of accomplishment to the end of each level as you watch what used to be an intersection with a mountain of cars piled on top of it be flattened to a pancake with the aid of your crashbreaker. Sadly the graphics are a bit of a letdown and many may be unhappy with the choice to make the game a top down racer but Burnout CRASH! Still makes it as satisfying as ever to drive headlong into an intersection and watch the 10 car pileup unfold right before you. Only $10 dollars on PSN or XBLA Burnout CRASH! Is a perfect game to keep you entertained until the big triple a games are released this coming fall.
